Dec 16—Dec 18

    Day 1, Module 1: Foundations and Communication Styles

    Explore your communication style and align it with the styles of others so that you can confidently communicate with clarity and purpose no matter the audience.

    We'll start by discussing the all-important basics of effective communication before diving into the psychology of human behavior and how that can impact how we communicate. We'll cover frameworks of behavioral styles, how to leverage this understanding for more effective communication, and how to build strong foundational relationship

    Day 1, Module 2: Giving and Receiving Effective Feedback

    Learn to apply a feedback framework so that you can work more effectively with your teammates and boss and get your ideas heard loudly and clearly every time.

    We'll dive into the complicated part of communication and cover Radical Candor, how to give (and receive) effective feedback, and how to "manage up" and boost confidence in your communication.

    Day 1, Module 3: Productive Disagreement and Other Hard Conversations

    Learn to excel in navigating difficult conversations in order to maximize your impact as a PM and overcome potential barriers on your team and with your manager.

    In the final module of day 1, we'll cover productive disagreement and how to have difficult conversations in the most effective way.

    Day 2, Module 1: Stakeholder Communication and Alignment

    Create a stakeholder communication plan so that you can optimize your stakeholder management and make sure that everyone is aligned with your product vision and goals.

    We will discuss the Power-Interest Matrix and how to effectively engage with and align across different audiences. We'll also review real life scenarios that come up frequently for PMs who deal with their own cross-functional teams and many disparate stakeholders.

    Day 2, Module 2: Getting Buy-In

    Practice using your communication skills to influence stakeholders so that you get consistent and friction-free buy in on your product vision and goals.

    We'll tackle the ever-important topic of how to successfully get your team and stakeholders to understand and support your product vision and strategy, and how to stay aligned and on track over time.

    Day 2, Module 3: Storytelling

    Create and utilize a storytelling template so that you can present your product vision or new feature ideas with clarity and confidence.

    In our last module, we will discuss the importance of storytelling and how to practice & improve your own storytelling skills. You'll learn how to tell your own story that can be used to get buy-in from stakeholders and make your writing and presenting really pop.

Christina Weiss

Christina Weiss

Christina is a product management & strategy consultant and product coach who has held CPO roles at startups across the US and EU.


Her work leverages extensive experience across product, engineering, psychology and cross-cultural communication. She holds an MS in Computer Science from Georgia Tech and a BA in Psychology from Harvard.
